Excellence in Action

Murray House is a split-level style home in Clifton, NJ. It is the longest-running group home for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities in the state of New Jersey. Murray House provides help and creates hope for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

Each year, a fundraiser dinner dance is held at the Brownstone. This year marked an important milestone as it was the 50th Annual Murray House Dinner Dance at which individuals who have made a difference to people with intellectual and developmental disabilities are recognized and celebrated.

We are proud of the contributions made by our football team parents, coaches, and players who transcend excellence on the field and in the classroom as they have made an unmatched spiritual connection to the individuals of DPD for many years. Over the past ten years, with assistance from alumna Dianne Macchia Hanson, DePaul Catholic students have become more and more involved with DPD. The DePaul Catholic football team has hosted summer luaus, Christmas parties, and Valentine’s Day dances. The Murray House Dinner Dance provided a forum for our young men, their coaches, and parents to be recognized and honored for their tireless contributions to DPD. Well done, all.
